| Searching through YouTube is a great way to discover new musicians, one thing I've found is that quite a few people like to do acoustic covers of popular Hip hop songs. Personally, I enjoy very much many of these covers and tend to prefer them to the original. Sometimes an acoustic guitar supporting a singer's voice is all that a song needs; sometimes simple is better. Anyways, my favorite covers so far are: Umbrella - Alejandro Manzano of Boyce Avenue (Rihanna cover)Hey Ya- Mat Weddle of Obadiah Parker (Outkast cover)Mah Lip Gloss B' Poppin - Shea Donoghue Ex-UGer, unfortunately his channel has been removed from YouTube and I can't find this song anymore what are some good acoustic hip hop covers that you know of? | |
