Okay everyone, because nobody really won this contest for August, we're carrying it over to this month.

Ok folks 123Guitartabs.com is kicking off the month of August with a Referal Contest. The member who obtains the most referals between now and Sept. 5th will recieve a free pair of Elixir 12000 Super Light PolyWeb Electric Guitar Strings (9-42)

So here are the rules. Have your friends sign up and join the site and post here in this contest post who they were refered by. The member who brings the most people into the site will recieve the strings. Members who cheat by trying to create multiple accounts will be banned from the site. And yes we can tell if you are just using another email to make a new screen name. So rock on bring some newbies to the site and hopefully you will get to enjoy shredding on these top notch strings!

On another note, don't just bring a friend who won't stay here. they must be active for the whole month. And those of you who were referred, it doesn't mean that you can't join in either. Bring whomever you know will stay and enjoy the place. And bassists/banjo-ist...(if we get any) you can compete, and if you do win, i will make sure you get bass/banjo strings of good quality.

In the event of a bassist/banjo-ist actually bringing more referals than a guitarist, the strings will be held onto until next month.

I've been trying to get some friends to join here lately anyhow (i'm starting to break a few =P ), but...I really wouldn't need the strings. I'm not wanting to win, but if by chance I get the most to join, I'd gladly just have them sent to a site member that could get use out of them.

Well, I'll give it a try! I've got a couple of friends that are keen guitarists so they may enjoy a forum like this one. ^^

If they did join, I wouldn't count them as me getting them to join though

I'm just talking to friends/friend's friends.

I know that if I even so much mentioned it on UG outside the people I have on my friends list that I actually talk to, I'd get banned.

im trying to find guitar suppliers that would like to giveaway a guitar on our site, hard to find though
