BH-EDIT: As of yet this isn't complete, so if an Admin/Mod sees this before it's done, I'll work on having the Guide portion up soon.
Hello everyone.
As always, the standard site and forum rules apply, no exceptions.
However, there's a thing or two I'd like to add one for this particular forum section.
1. Please do not 'steal' riffs from other users. Albeit debatable, often it can be easily seen whether or not someone has done this. It's an insult to the user who originally created the riff/lead/etc. At this point it's not set in stone, but if it's clear that it's been 'stolen', action may be taken.
Now it does happen when two people may coincidentally compose the same riff/etc, and there's not a major problem there. But if it's noticed that a decent portion of a user's song is in the same time signature, tempo, etc, it will be an indicator of 'stolen' ideas.
2. Please, be respectful. Yes this is already a main site rule, but should be especially reinforced here. Just because someone may compose a Jazz piece when you're more accustomed to something on the Speed-Metal side, doesn't mean it's automatically bad. If you don't like it, don't bother posting saying you don't, as that doesn't help anything.
Just offer constructive critisism as much as you can, and please be detailed. Going through saying in detail which parts you liked and some you didn't is much more helpful than saying 'Yeah that wasn't too bad'.
As a note, if anyone happens to post a thread asking a question regarding another band's tab, or something irrelevant to this forum that shouldn't be in here, it will be moved and that is all that will happen,
UNLESS it's a user who repeatedly does this. The Admins and Mods have better things to do than having to keep wasting time moving threads when they clearly shouldn't have to.
I can't really see sending a ban to someone over that, however, a warning is very likely.

GUIDE - If you're going to post a tab of your song in Text format,
use code tags.
It makes it a much easier and cleaner read.
So instead of having
A-------7---5----3---7810---
E-0000--00--00-00-------------
We can have
- Code:
-
A-----7---5---3---7810---
E-0000--00--00--00-------------
Please make note that you will more than likely need to make adjustments to your tablature before posting to make it how you actually want it to be seen.
